If you're wondering, "Can I get my ex girlfriend back?" then the breakup probably wasn't so devastating that you think the relationship can't be saved. You'll have to hope she feels the same way. If any hurt was caused during the split that you should apologize for, now's the time to say you're sorry. Being sorry and sincerely showing it is a good first step.

Move On Slowly: Another thing that you can do is to move on slowly. This is not something that'll help you like the other tips on how to get your ex girl back. What it'll do for you however is start to put your mind back into healthy mode. Obsessing after an ex is generally not a good idea, especially if the ex is the one that ended the relationship. Most of the time, they're not coming back to you. If you move on slowly and start to realize that there are other fish in the sea, you will be much healthier mentally. That'll translate into much more positive body language which in turn will be noticed by your ex the few times that you see them.

If you spent your relationship rarely doing thoughtful things, or you only did them in the beginning, she'll probably doubt the things you do now. Just be patient, and keep up your efforts. Don't appear frustrated or angry. Do the thoughtful things because it feels good to make her happy, not because you're working toward a goal.

Can I get my ex girlfriend back by showing my sensitive side? Well, there's no guarantee you'll get back together, but the odds tilt more and more in your favor when you do things right. Show her how much you miss her, and how sorry you are. Just pay attention to what she does. If your gestures of sorrow only make her angry-she throws away the roses or something dramatic like that, for example-change your tactics until you find that something she responds to.

You need to be STRONG. Close the door to communication for a while and give each other a chance to cool off and think things through. This is a very difficult thing to do, especially when you are wondering what she is doing and who she is doing it with. But, calling or sending text messages constantly or even stopping by to talk, can cause more damage to your already fragile situation. If this was an angry breakup, people need to take time to put things into perspective by thinking about the relationship and why you were together to begin with.

If you neglected her, missed her birthday, hardly ever took her out, then you need to seriously look at that behavior. No girl worth her salt is going to put up with such behavior. A girl wants and needs, to be taken out and made a fuss of. She needs to know that you want to be with her for more than the obvious. If you fail to show her that, then she will walk and find a guy who can show her that.

It's no doubt going to be tough for you, but I'm going to suggest something counter-intuitive: leave her alone! Give her some time to herself. You never know, she might well realize that she misses you and agrees to starting up the relationship again all on her own. Don't dismiss this possibility, even if all looks lost right now, equally don't cling to it as a possibility. If it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't!

There is one objection that you might not be able to overcome and that is, "I just don't want to." If she just does not want to get back together, there might be no other reason for it. You can't make her want you. You can't convince her that she should. This is one of the things that you have to be prepared for. What you will be doing, though, is getting to that answer. If she does have a part of her that wants to be with you then the answer to "Can I get my girlfriend back?" is YES.
