Based on the "100 Day Challenge Program" by Gary Ryan Blair, goal setting is based on the concept that every time people work in the direction of a predetermined goal that's coupled with a timeline, they will be more enthusiastic in accomplishing their duties. But if time is endless, then people will be less likely to finish any task promptly. When employees have achieved the objectives set, then they'll be more inclined to reaching more objectives set by the institution and will develop a more keen sense of trustworthiness. Setting of objectives will direct progress in their performance.<br />

As outlined by Locke and Eisenhardt, the organizations should also consider the results of setting goals in the office. Managers shall be aware that goal setting should be clear by all employees in order for the entire workforce to be aware in all the corporation's undertaking. It is also imperative that workers should be capable of trusting their superiors and that both are able to adjust any aim that has been set in congruence with situations that may arise.<br />

Guidelines on goal setting are a requirement and it should be adhered to by all the members of an organization.
