A great weight loss tip to follow is to clearly separate hunger and thirst. Sometimes, you may think you are hungry when you are really just thirsty. Therefore, if you feel hungry, drink a glass of water instead and wait a few minutes or so to see if that was the problem.<br />

They are usually packed with calories, sodium and fat enough for the day or longer. Choose items approved by the American Heart Association as they are healthier than others.<br />

Try snacking on crunchy veggies like carrots, celery, broccoli and sugar snap peas in stead of potato chips. You can even dunk them in your favorite low fat salad dressing for some extra flavor. You will cut out a large amount of unnecessary fat from your diet and get more nutrition in as well.<br />

Make sure you are getting some exercise while you are on your diet plan. Exercise in any form is great for helping you to lose those excess pounds. You don't have to have a gym membership to workout either. You can run, do sit ups and push ups and that will help you in your weight loss efforts. Walking is also another great way to help you lose weight. Try and stay active, get your body in motion to lose the weight.<br />
