Ways to Eliminate your Anxiety

Anxiety has our lives in various guises, it's the natural instinct many of us are born with and it is primarily suitable for survival. This emotional and physical response is to some perceived immediate threat or pain. Anxiety, which we shouldn't confuse with anxiety, is usually a physical and emotional a reaction to something considered an impending future event.

As beneficial as fearfulness could be in certain situations it may also hold us back from exploring and manifesting our destiny. Just let me take a little time explaining what i'm saying when I make use of the word destiny. I don't mean I feel we all have a strategy mapped out for people somewhere on the horizon, and if and we don't follow that plan us become misshapen, meaningless and chaotic.

Destiny within my eyes is definitely evolving; organic beef have a certain 'destiny' mapped out for ourselves one day, and thru our own actions change that destiny the following day, dependent on our evolving view and connection with life, destiny is fluid.

Fearfulness for some people, can become a crippling and immobilising ailment that affects every aspect of their lives. For other people it can be a little lower but still possess a profound relation to decisions they generate in life. This is a common summary of perceived fears that some people face on a daily basis. The list is actually not exhaustive

Fear has influenced my decision making many times in the past, from simple things such as not getting through to stage to bounce whilst on holiday with my family, for concern with looking stupid or feeling embarrassed, to not speaking out at my place of work, when I know that morally I would have done so, for concern with losing my employment. I'll go into that in another article.

Fear is incorporated in the mind

I worked in the addiction field for several years and I can quite confidently point out that a major factor for people with addiction who desired to stop habitually utilizing their drug of was anxiety. Whether it be fearfulness of the imminent withdrawal symptoms off their opiate dependency, to concern with how their lives would unfold after successfully quitting the thing that had been their metaphorical crutch on their years of turmoil.

I had a client who brought up their concern with withdrawal symptoms on and on 'cold turkey' with such emotion and fearfulness, and stated they'd do just about anything to avoid entering into this state. After working a long time discussing this anxiety it turned out that they had never actually experienced withdrawal symptoms using their opiate dependence upfront.

It was thinking alone, and never the personal experience that has been driving their anxiety. That they been told by their peers how debilitating or painful opiate withdrawal may be and had developed a picture in their own mind and attached fearfulness with it. This signifies that the mind can be a powerful player in the fearfulness game.
