Do you really want greater self-confidence, or would you harbor adverse feeling toward those who seem overly confident?

Seeking harmony

Like with anything else, a structured, healthy a feeling of self-confidence is what we should strive for. But listed here is a question worthwhile considering, is it possible to have a very realistic look at one's own abilities, and still have unstoppable self-confidence?

Yes it can be, and that's where balance will come in. Self-confidence is an inner a sense certainty about what we have to offer, and what we are capable of accomplishing. It's closely in connection with self-esteem, which is your own estimation individuals value and worth being a person.

Without a reasonable a higher level self-esteem, it is impossible to manifest extraordinary self-confidence. So, self-esteem levels are key point, and they must be maintained within certain reasonable limits. In the same way an unreasonable amount of self-esteem creates an egomaniac, a lot of self-confidence can also prove to be unrealistic and counterproductive. Should it be unrealistic, then it is also possibly damaging on some level, physically, emotionally, or financially. How do too much self-confidence be harmful?

Everything has its limits

While a powerful sense of self-confidence can create new opportunities, it cannot change reality. As an example, on a physical plain, having complete confidence that one could fly in the top of a 50-story building will not negate the force or gravity. Gravity is really a force of nature, and it is not vulnerable to your will, that's reality.

Here's a good example from the financial world. Dumping your health savings in a falling stock exchange because you have are complete confidence that the situation is about to turnaround, will not alter the direction from the markets. You'll either be very lucky, or very broke, that's reality.

Why don't you consider emotionally? Having blind faith (unrealistic self-confidence), as in these two examples will most likely have a negative influence on you self-esteem. Because of this, doubt will erode your self-confidence and you will experience a psychological set back.
