Anyone that is serious about making money with websites online must understand how to do link building the right way. The trick really is to get people to link back to your site. If you can do this, this can really accelerate your success with your online efforts. One of the more popular ways to get links to your site is to use automated link builders which will send hundreds or thousands of links back to your site every day. Organic approaches are also used. Yes, this method is more work intensive and takes longer, but the links you build are going to be quite a lot higher quality. Building more organic links to your site is the focus of this article.

The first thing you need to do is find blogs which will allow you to make comments on them. Commenting on blogs is one of the best ways to both build your network and the number of links that point back to your site. Many of the comments can be generated by link builder services, yet they will not be as good as ones that you do yourself. You need to leave comments that are actually related to the post you are commenting on if you really want blog commenting to work. To do this, you have to actually read the post on the blog itself. Of course, this is more time consuming. Only a half an hour should be spent doing this, which is more than enough when posting on blogs that are niche specific.

Submit your website to the social bookmarking services. You'll find these work best for any site that adds fresh content regularly. If you submit a bookmark that people appreciate, they're able to vote on it. They may even link to you from their own websites. You get a dual benefit from this. The first is a new link from the original submission you made. You gain an extra link if someone else finds your site interesting enough to link to it as well. There is still a social element present on social bookmarking sites, so don't just submit everything you publish.

Locate as many link directories as you can and add your websites and blogs to them all. Initially, you should look for niche specific directories that would cater to your product or service. Find additional link directories later on that are similar to your niche in some way.

It's always best to go for free directories, and once you have some money, invest that into paid listings when possible. Locating directories that are similar to your niche will not be that hard at all. Just search for business directories on Google. That's the quickest and easiest way to locate them so you can start submitting your URLs. All you have to do is sign up with a couple of them every day and you'll be fine.

List your website in every link directory you can find. Start with the directories that pertain to your niche or your market. Find additional link directories later on that are similar to your niche in some way.

Start with the free directories then, if you can afford it, move on to paid listings. It's actually pretty easy to find directories that will cater to your niche. A quick Google search of business directories in your niche will turn up more directories than you know what to do with. Signing up for 3 or 4 each day will help you gain quite a few back links in no time at all. There are varied approaches you can employ to create links to your site. Many webmasters blast out hundreds of links at the same time by using special software or hiring a service to do it for them. Not all the links are valid but they don't really care because they are more interested in quantity versus quality. Conversely, if quality is your thing, then you should use the aforementioned organic link creation strategies. Don't forget that quality always wins out over quantity.
