Well let's be clear. First off, is it even fair to call network marketing a job?<br />
<br />
Most of the people don't regard MLM's a job at all. And provided that you simply have no boss, you get to perform things your own way and you don't get paid a wage or even a salary, it undoubtedly appears not like a job.<br />
<br />
But this way of thinking is really a mistake that could cripple your own business.<br />
<br />
The truth is, for numerous self-employed men and women, the freedoms allowed can usually be detrimental to their achievement.<br />
<br />
You're going to become fired from your network advertising and marketing job, chances are.<br />
<br />
Contemplate it. For essentially the most part, every person succeeds at their "real" job. The job that has a boss and also a paycheck.<br />
<br />
The kid shows up at the fast food place, does precisely what he's told. Works his complete shift. Earns his check.<br />
<br />
The same with the corporate VP, the secretary, the taxi cab driver, the school teacher... everybody shows up at work, performs their assignments - and gets paid.<br />
<br />
But take away the time clock. Take away the boss. Take away the threat of getting fired.<br />
<br />
Most every person fails.<br />
<br />
At a job, practically 100% of folks succeed. They don't get fired and their pay is there every Friday.<br />
<br />
But something like 95% of organizations fail. And in the network advertising and marketing niche, 97-99% of people today never even make several hundred dollars! Even despite months or years of "trying"!<br />
<br />
So why do men and women overwhelmingly succeed at a classic job, however overwhelmingly fail at self employment?<br />
<br />
I am sure they've performed studies on this sort of thing, but here is my observation from many years of being inside the MLM business.<br />
<br />
It is all about "doing it". People are culturally trained to do what a boss says. So we do it.<br />
<br />
But we have also been trained with the incorrect concept that self employment signifies you don't need to do actual work. We perhaps even believe that our bosses do not work and do not deserve their salary. We ignore the truth that they had to work hard to get their position, and now have bigger responsibilities... we just assume they are lazy and undeserving.<br />
<br />
So, to most, self employment indicates freedom from working hard. Not having the need to work a lot of hours. Easy dollars rolling in. For not working and doing nothing. So they just don't "do it".<br />
<br />
Don't think that's correct?<br />
<br />
I can not count the numbers of people that have joined network advertising and marketing companies, done virtually nothing, ignored the established success principles, gave it no more than a month, or possibly a week, or even a couple days, and concluded that MLM "doesn't work".<br />
<br />
However it is not that network marketing and advertising does not work, it really is that people, without having the structure of a time clock, a boss plus a paycheck... do not perform.<br />
<br />
Make network marketing and advertising a job and watch good results take place.<br />
<br />
So what is the answer? Decide that you just have a "network marketing job". You might have to perform specific hours. You've got a boss (pretend!). Make job tasks and structure. Expect a paycheck, and know that you worked for it and deserve it. Be an expert.<br />
<br />
And like any career, invest inside your education so that you may advance. Seek guidance from specialists (teachers) and take courses (trainings) that can allow you to excel at what you do.<br />
<br />
Create a schedule for oneself, and stick to it. Be at your "job", prepared to work, on time.<br />
<br />
Have a marketing calendar so you accomplish the important tasks on schedule.<br />
<br />
Style and implement your promotions.<br />
<br />
Be sure to follow up diligently with all of your prospects, clients and downline.<br />
<br />
The bottom line?<br />
<br />
You've got a job. A <a href="http://www.empowernetwork.com/doit/blog/network-marketing-job/">network advertising job</a>. Show up, do what you're supposed to on schedule, execute your job duties diligently, and as opposed to most, you won't be fired!<br />
