<div class='uawarticle'>This is a set of the top ten habits I think are important if you wish to succeed as an entrepreneur. Do not confuse them with characteristics like motivation, persistence, imagination, etc which might be vital but are tough to quantify.<br />

This particular list is tangible and you may actually print this out, stick it up on your walls and cross off each one of the items off while you do them:<br />
<br />
o <b>Open a Savings Account</b> - no matter how little you will save, undertake it regularly and you will continually be more wealthy<br />
<br />
o <b>Eliminate Bad Debt</b> - debt to finance a smart investment is frequently ok, but any other debt is bad and it's costing you money<br />
<br />
o <b>Associate With Like Minded People</b> - friends may not understand when you do anything risky and they're going to often criticise your behaviour. Go with compatible entrepreneurs to give you positive support<br />
<br />
o <b>Be Interested in Your Work</b> - don't just chase the money, do something you're interested in and the money will follow<br />
<br />
o <b>Develop Plans and Systems</b> - devise plans and systems and follow them. Some may not be perfect at the beginning but working without them is foolish<br />
<br />
o <b>Outsource Responsibilities</b> - do only the work you're excited about and outsource the tasks you never enjoy doing<br />
<br />
o <b>Grow to be an Expert</b> - becoming an expert within your chosen field is the best investment you can make. Specialised knowledge is very valuable<br />
<br />
o <b>Be a Guru Marketer</b> - whether you love marketing or not it is the one region within your business you should master. It can make or break your business so don't leave it to chance<br />
<br />
o <b>Generate a Definite Major Purpose</b> - all of your plans should be taking you here. This is exactly what you wish your lifestyle to look like and it is the reason you'll be in business.<br />
<br />
o <b>Make a Commitment to Lifelong Learning</b> - if you stopped learning the time you left college you ceased living. Read, watch, take note and absorb everything you can about business, state of mind and lifestyle design.<br />
