Google recently made the announcement that an app has been released that allows the user to merge two Google accounts. Life has just been made much easier for those who use Google+. Now, users can conjoin their personal Gmail account and another account attached to their Google apps. This is known as Google Takeout.

Google made this change with the user in mind. Basically, they wanted to make it easier for users to transfer circles from one Google+ account to another. This change now lets users use one main account instead of two. This transfer must be requested and there is a seven day waiting period before it occurs. When the process begins, it can't be reversed or cancelled. You will be stuck with the transfer once it begins.

Both of your Google+ accounts will slow down quite a bit once the transfer begins. You will not be able to share content or update your status to your circles until the transfer is absolutely complete. There is a period of time, 48 hours, for the transfer to take place. Everything will be transferred from your account with the exception of comments, profile information, and posts.

Google believes that the transfer will make it much easier for professionals to connect their profiles and they will not be losing followers. It lets people share content with others in their networking so they do not have to manually go through every circle. There are still some things that need to be fixed within the system. Certain users discovered that they still possess two accounts instead of one.

You may want to think about doing the transfer if you are a business owner and a Google+ user. Make sure that you give yourself a chunk of time for the transfer to occur since you won't be able to access your Google+ accounts. This makes it easier to share content with your followers, especially certain consumers who follow you. Always keep your social media sites updated!
