For all types of wires you have to use only appropriate probes, as well as for them designed connectors. Standard connectors have round, and miniature connectors have flat pins, and those two are standard ones. Sometimes you will have to extend your wires, and you need to use only appropriate wire extensions, just to make sure to avoid unwanted junction. You should also check the polarity.<br />

The resistance will depend on the diameter of used wire. Thin wire is commonly used, but in some conditions it can be a cause of errors. You should read the table and use thicker extension wires in some particular environments to avoid this effect. In any case, check the actual resistance before use.<br />

Reducing environment may cause DE-calibration. In such conditions, tiny particles of different impurities, especially metal ones, may cause errors.
