Corey Eridon recently posted a blog explaining the seven reasons why agile marketers are better at their jobs than other marketers; better at their jobs than you. Most people have to wade through the bureaucratic red-tape before moving forward on a project. But agile marketers circumvent that when it is necessary in order to streamline the marketing process and obtain the best results for the company. Sometimes it's better to ask forgiveness than permission.<br />

An agile marketer understands the importance of producing and publishing content that is current as well as accurate. They do not waste time waiting for fifteen people to approve a blog or an article; that just slows down the creative process. Let's be clear, quality does matter. But relax, not everything has to be perfect.<br />

Remember, every sentence does not require analysis by a panel of lawyers or literary professionals before it goes live. An agile marketer utilizes the skills of a trusted, capable coworker to review work for grammar, spelling, structure, and flow. Eridon's Hubspot article suggests that 15-20 minutes for review is sufficient. Increasing efficiency over the creative process by streamlining produces more quality content in a shorter amount of time. The more quality content that is produced, the better off your business will be.<br />

Agile marketers jump in on social media conversations.<br />

Many companies have restricted access to social media while in the work place but when it comes to social marketing, access is a must! Navigating various social media platforms while engaging and contributing to a range of social conversations, allows a savvy marketer to keep a finger on the pulse of what's current. Participating in the online social conversation informs and reassures the audience that a company knows what's going on in the online universe and demonstrates that it is relevant to those conversations.<br />

Agile marketers use all available tools and resources to make quick, actionable decisions.<br />
<br />
Understanding where a company stands enables shrewd marketers to best determine a winning strategy. Agile marketers use analytics to track everything from hit counts, to leads, to actual sales and how those numbers relate to monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. Metrics provide quantifiable feedback on a company's performance, revenues, and EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization).<br />

Agile marketers understand how to create new web pages and launch new offers quickly. Landing pages are produced in a matter of minutes, not days. Being open-minded is key; referral traffic and leads can come from anywhere. Remember to have a short memory. A random hunch could be a gold mine or it could be a failure. Whatever the results, agile marketers are not afraid of failing, and when they do miss the mark, they bounce back quickly.<br />
