<div class='uawarticle'>To mobile app or not to mobile app; that is the question. The need may not be obvious, but having one opens up a whole new world of lead possibilities.<br />

According to Berg Insight, the revenue generated from paid applications and subscriptions will rise to $8.8 billion over the next three years. Users will download 98 million mobile applications across the globe by 2015. Berg also predicts that mobile app downloads will increase by 56.6% between now and 2015.<br />

Eloqua conducted their own study, researching the lead generating success of mobile apps for their clients; and like Berg Insight, found similar results. Eloqua reported that clients that used mobile apps as a part of their marketing strategy generated significantly more leads than clients who did not utilize mobile applications. Eloqua's study actually noted a direct correlation between the number of mobile applications that their clients used and their rate of form submissions (leads).<br />

Eloqua clients that had not begun using mobile apps to generate leads averaged 171 form submissions per month. Those that used one to two apps saw more than three times as many--an average of 562 leads per month. With three to five mobile applications monthly leads rose another 500% to 2,546 leads. Clients utilizing six applications or more averaged a whopping 4,052 form submissions per month.<br />

Almost everyone has a smart phone these days and for many people their phone has replaced their computer as their primary way to go online. As audiences and customers evolve and change the way they communicate, businesses must change the way they communicate too. Mobile apps help companies reach more customers and convert those leads into sales.<br />
<br />
Mobile apps don't contain all the spam that people often find through email. They also engage analytic software to enhance marketers understanding of their customers. Mobile applications make it easier to "cleanse/append data, send reminders, collect registrationsand so forth. It's a win-win situation: less effort, higher returns (Eloqua)."<br />
