If you happen to know their favorite album, even better. A coffee mug warmer that can plug into his computer USB port is a nice gift for anyone that sits and sips all day long.<br />

You could start a new tradition and get him a phone cover. It will probably need replaced next year, hence the tradition. While we are talking about cell phones, get him a new app or some more music for his phone. Ipads, Kindles and Nooks are high up on wish lists. If they already have the device, you can get a cover or case for them. You could also purchase apps, software or books for the units. If they have a reader, they like to read.<br />

It may not be something fancy, but it is something he would have gotten for himself anyway. A nice canteen, or stainless water bottle are good gift ideas for men who run or work out. To make it special you could have it engraved. Unless he is a very close friend, avoid items that require a personal preference like clothes or colognes. Get him something he will use.<br />

Men are big kids. They want to be able to show them off to their friends. They want to be the first kid on the block to have something. They also want to have what all their friends have. With all this in mind, there are all kinds of nifty gadgets available as gift ideas for men in your life. <br />

A set of wireless headphones are nice gift ideas for men that likes to watch TV without being bothered by everyone else in the house. He can slip them on and watch the football game. Most sets will transmit through walls, so he will not miss a play while getting refreshments.<br />

One of those gadgets men would have a lot of fun with is a portable scanner. They are able to scan documents and pictures in color so they can be saved for later viewing on an SD card. They are small and look like a fat wand.<br />

For men who work in an office environment, there are tons of gift ideas for men to help relieve stress. Get them a stress ball or something they can smash. I know guys who like to have a small basketball hoop to play with.<br />

You should not worry about gift baskets for men. Men are much simpler to buy for then women. Find out what the latest gadget or gag gift is and get them one. Do not count on them to help you find them a gift, they always say they do not want anything.<br />
