Daily Word: Why I Desire Experience

"I'm leaving for Kenya, Africa... in 2 hours"

She could not process my words and actually thatTuesday early in the morning I was not contemplating in traveling in the least. Egypt and Mexico felt enough for any month (so I thought). But close to 11 o'clock, as I was browsing a book, sipping my 2nd late and strongly imagining the relaxing days and nights onward, a disruptive email arrived and broke the morning in 2:

Are you able to fly to Kenya tomorrow?

The email came from Jono Hall, director of the Forerunner Media Shool at the International House of Prayer of Kansas City. Graeme Spencer (head of production for God TV)enteredthe conversation from Washington DC and inquired about if I could lead worship in Kenya, on Thursday. After a few seconds of serious thinking, I completed drinking my cup of coffee and typed a timid yes.

That afternoon, I took the airplane boarding pass from my smart phone and took flights for Chicago and Heathrow (London) where I came along the exhausted yet friendly God TV group. All of us had a snack and embarked British Airlines flight 879 for Nairobi, Kenya. It was Wednesday late night, when I finally arrived at The continent of africa.

With only 3 hours of sleep, I jumped into a compact rented bus en route for 'mountain base'. This excellent drive provided 45 minutes of wild safari driving with a few that ancient British chitchat (try any time you've jet lag).

High in the hills the early morning sensed like intoxicating: the raw aroma of the wild, the fascinating hues all over it seemed like nature dancing. On my back while leading, a corn field transition into majestic hillsides which culminated on crystalinea skies. It was breathtaking; creation at his finest (with a divine touch) the Watoto children choir of Uganda shaking most of the stage.

For almost six prolonged hours we worshiped and transmitted unrehearsed (live TV) to more than 100 nations. Without doubt draining, but totally memorable!

At nightfall, we all left mountain base and drove to the hotel (through untamed bumpy roadways you have not seen in the most famous african movies). Hours later, I kissed Africa farewell, changed several planes in Europe making it it back to Kansas City, on Friday (for supper).

Now, that's what I define as "ministry on steroids"a fascinating kingdom voyage, the adrenaline rush of traversing the globe in twenty four hours, feeling the nearness of God's presence on your soul, and also the superb delight of an extraordinary experience.

Exposing the Puzzle associated with an Captivating Word

The paragraph above posesses a compelling and captivating word. To get perfectly sincere, I shared my journey Kenya to focus on the value of that word. I guarantee: understanding the word will allow you to decode the desires of your soul and identify the reason behind your main victories and downfalls.

Imagine yourself within a place in which beauty, memorable trips and exhilarating adventures take place each and every day. Envision a reality where apathy is vanished and fascination is the predominant experience of the soul.

Suppose you might have a endless story, in a community in which love and eternity constantly take your flow of air away?

This is something few individuals comprehend: deep within our hearts we long and desire experience. All people crave for to "experience". It is certainly not "things", "status" and "success" we want, it is the experience those ideas deliver we're after, how they make us feel within.

I have significantly more to say regarding this matter, but this post is already lengthy... don't worry... we'll meet again.
