Article marketers generally fell into two basic categories, until the changes rendered one of them obsolete. Although some article marketers took the path of syndication, which meant producing high quality articles, a larger number focused more on quantity, relying on the directories to get their articles quickly ranked. What counts today, though, is quality content, as the search engines aren't as likely to rank articles that appear in directories as they used to be.<br />

The words "Panda" and "Farmer," referring of course to Google's update, have struck fear in the hearts of article marketers because of the massive changes that have taken place. Whereas article directories were once places you could submit articles to and see them quickly ranked, this is no longer the case. You don't, then, want to just write lots of articles of dubious quality, as you need a more effective system. The real advantage to using article directories is to get your content syndicated by other high quality sites. Discover more about content syndication, and then make that the backbone of your article marketing strategy.<br />

You can make an account and then publish your content to them, and they may want unique. Not only will more people be seeing your content, but it makes you look more authoritative.<br />

Something else you may not have ever seen is writing a little debating article with some niche expert. No worries as this will not be the debate you are thinking about, it is just done in your written content. When you do this, merely present the opposing views, and then do a good job of saying what your thoughts are on the matter. You see how relatively simple this can be, and this will give your readers some real food for thought.<br />

You should always write your articles with the needs and preferences of your specific audience in mind.<br />

You should make the effort to add even more to this because that is where the power really is with your business.<br />
