Does this describe you? We have all kinds of plans for our blog, but then we start another project, and then another and pretty soon our original blog is all but forgotten. Some of them may die completely. We may not even realize how negligent we've been until we look at our pathetic traffic statistics for that blog. Yet the reason becomes clear when we observe that the blog hasn't been updated in over a month. Rest assured, however, your blog can still thrive. If your blog has dropped into obscurity, there are ways to bring it back to the surface.

If you're like many bloggers, when you started your blog you created more content than you could use at the time -or perhaps you bought original articles or PLR. You were saving it for the right time, and that time has arrived. This type of content is ideal for updating your blog when you don't have anything current handy. It will certainly do you more good on your blog than just sitting there on your computer! If you've already burned through them, now is the time to commission some more. With a little research, you'll find that it's easy and cheap to find some PLR you can use (but it must be rewritten of course). You should find a publishing schedule that suits you and stick to it -perhaps one post every few days.

Relaxing is important - take a breath! Sometimes taking a break is fine. Your readers will understand. They realize that you are actually a human being. Nobody is going to throw a brick at you because you stopped posting for a while. Just go on your break! The readers will understand, especially if you are upfront and honest. Unnecessary stress, such as forcing yourself to write when you need a break, will actually make your creativity dwindle or disappear. You need to take a break and stop posting, even if you must force yourself to do so.

Your readers can help give you guidance. You might find yourself completely stuck when you want write a new post for your blog. This is just a part of being a blogger, as nobody has an endless flow of ideas that never ceases. It only makes sense to turn to the people who have been reading your posts. Make an appeal to your readers, and ask what issues are important to them. Doing this also encourages more participation on the part of your readers, which will make them more likely to return frequently to your blog. The most successful blogs are the ones that encourage the most participation with their readers. This way, your readers benefit by getting the content they want, and you get more steady traffic to your blog.

Even the most conscientious bloggers end up having blogs that they lose touch with and that end up losing momentum. Yet even the most stagnant blog can be given new life if you are ready to give it a little TLC. Use these tips to help you breathe some fresh life back into your post pages and get the ball rolling again. You can turn things around faster than you think.
