There are hundreds of thousands of products/services on the Internet, out of which many of them are fake or designed to scam the customers out of their hard earned money. There are some things you can do to help you make sales as a business, and having sincere and real testimonials is one of them. You need testimonials, and we will offer some excellent tips so you can be better armed to help your self.

If you have been in IM for a while, then hopefully you are aware of the many instances of false testimonials along with other things. This has lead to suspicion and doubt in the mind of people nowadays, which is why they happen to question the authenticity of any product or service before they buy them. Naturally this is the expected outcome, and it is somewhat predictable in many ways. So you do what you can do by being an honest businessperson, and you give the real deal with your testimonials and keep moving. The best thing you can offer is a video testimonial, and then at least have a picture with their name and location. Now that you know, then hopefully you will totally avoid using the simple initial person with no location - those are not worth having at all.

Simply stated, the product that is totally perfect in all ways does not exist. People make products, and people are not perfect - so it all kind of makes sense. Sincere criticism is always best, and people know your product will not be perfect, anyway. You will make a more positive impression on people by revealing the bad along with the good. Constructive feedback is always the best if it is thoughtful, and acknowledgement of it will speak volumes. All you can do is put it on your site and then track the results and proceed from there.

Keep in mind that your testimonials and feedback must be relevant to what you are doing. There is a phenomenon involving the process of identification between the people on your site and those reading it. People are predictable in many ways due to human nature and the way we all behave. Once you have gathered enough testimonials, then you will eventually have a better time getting more. This particular method has been used time and time again, and it really is quite effective.

Sometimes you have to take positive action to get what you need for your business, and this case is no different.
