At some point in everyone's life we become more careful about what specifically we are thinking, as opposed to just letting our thoughts to run on cruise control. We will begin to become the watcher of our thoughts as if we are separate from them. This is true, because we really are separate from our thoughts. Most of the time, we are thinking on auto-pilot with one random thought bursting our minds after another. We will look at, hear or smell something that triggers a memory, and our thoughts just take off. Before you realize it, you are emotionally invested in an old irrelevant random thought.

Random + Thought = Distraction

Even if the thought that we are thinking at the time is a random thought, if we hold that thought for below 16 seconds another thought exactly like it will surface and so on and so forth; consequently creating a whole string of "equivalent" thoughts. This inventory of equivalent thoughts will then further establish or turn on a vibration; an emotion within your body, and in next to no time you have just been swept away on an emotional journey somewhere. The probability is this is a journey that you didn't want to take, nonetheless your mind just created it, unintentionally.

Creating unintentionally is no way to live a purpose driven life, because we are naive of the power that we are wielding around at nearly every moment. We are not aware that we are attracting to ourselves the precise things that we don't want, as a result of these frequent unintentional emotional trips. Actually, our emotions are the vibrations that we put into the Universe. Every vibration supplies back to us an equivalent physical manifestation.

You might begin with the thought that "I don't have enough", and another thought trails that announces "I don't know how I'm going to make it", and from there yet another thought springs forth and affirms, "I never have enough" then suddenly arrives the thought, "I'm tired of struggling" and it's cousin responds with "I can't win for losing!". In no time, you have just activated a low vibration within you that causes you to feel really miserable and you have just begun the manifestation process of getting more of what you don't want.

Your life will confirm your beliefs to you constantly, and you will get more proof of not having enough and of struggling. As you see more substantiation of your thoughts, the evidence will make you continue more of the same thoughts. This will lead to more of the same vibration, which will deliver more of the same manifestation. It is a merciless cycle!

And so the question now ends up being, what can I do to tweak or control my thoughts? Well, I'm thrilled that you asked! The answer is simple, but simple quite often ends in people not doing it. We have a tendency to want to obscure it, and research it and explore it. We want to attend seminars and be coached about it, but the fact of the matter is this:

Be the observer of your thoughts.

Be forward feeling instead of current looking.

Repeat, repeat, repeat.

To be forward feeling as opposed to current looking means to ignore reality, and go to the feeling place of how you would want your life to be. I know it's difficult to wrap your mind around being advised to "ignore reality", but the fact of the matter is that acknowledging and going over, and keeping score of the reality of the current situation of your life is only bringing more of that current situation to you, and nothing will change. We really need to see the unseen and feel the feelings of that, and this stratagem raises our vibration to match that which we long for, which then brings about manifestation of the desire.

I understand this is heavy, read it more than once and let it marinate!
