Cosmetic dentistry has become more and more popular as a remedy in achieving a great looking set of teeth and with many procedures becoming increasingly affordable, cosmetic dentistry is reaching a larger demographic. <br />

Many celebrities even depend on cosmetic dental surgery in order to maintain that 'Hollywood smile'. Unfortunately a lifetime of alcohol, smoking and drugs can take its toll, often causing irreversible damage to natural teeth. With the media obsessed on our oral habits, Britain's celebrities must ensure their teeth are always at their best. Below are just some of famous faces whose teeth have become as much a talking point as their talents:<br />

Back in the early 1990's Noel's excessive drug taking had caused severe damage to his teeth and gums. The extent of erosion was so severe that it was reported his teeth had begun to fall out. Noel decided to end the drugs and clean up his act. The former Oasis frontman had extensive cosmetic dental surgery to reline and whiten his teeth. Although his jaw line remains slightly crooked it is a vast improvement to the singer's previous pair. <br />

Singer Cheryl Cole<br />

In the early days of Girls Aloud the beautiful Cheryl Cole who regularly hits the headlines today once looked very different. The media have constantly kept up with Cheryl's cosmetic procedures as she began to appear with straighter and whiter teeth. Before the X-Factor reporters had a field day when Cheryl appeared to have had porcalin veneers attached, a procedure which is rapidly becoming a popular alternative to standard tooth whitening. <br />

Surprisingly the Prince of Darkness picked up the award for the worst pair of celebrity teeth in 2002. It's difficult to find a picture of Ozzy with a poor set of dentures however years of alcohol and drug abuse reportedly caused serious damage to the rockers teeth. Looking back at old photos its clear Ozzy has had extensive cosmetic work on his teeth over the years making them appear as natural as his heyday.<br />
