Many Multilevel Marketing leaders will train their new distributors to look for prospects amongst friends and family and then to pay for generic home business leads and continue with the approach of inviting and presenting. This frequently causes 2 problems: First, most people who enrol in a Multilevel Marketing business are new to this type of business and are reluctant to prospect loved ones and secondly, most individuals become involved in Multi-level Marketing for extra money and cant afford to purchase leads until they generate a profit!<br />

Usually individuals who are new to the MLM industry are unaware that this kind of opportunity is still a business! It should go without mentioning that there will be individuals that will be interested in what you can provide and people who are not in the slightest bit interested! As Multilevel Marketing is a business the aim should NOT be to persuade and influence loved ones to trust you, instead to locate individuals who have a need or want for what you are offering. Business ethics must still apply and pressuring peers and family may damage important relationships!<br />

Some lead companies do offer good quality business opportunity leads, but naturally the more responsive leads will often be more expensive. As response rates are usually low with cold market, purchased leads, you are likely to be required to spend a lot until you are able to reap the rewards by building a profitable organisation.<br />

So, what are the alternatives for newbie Multilevel Marketers who are not ready to approach piers and dont have the money to buy leads?<br />

One recommended strategy is to source, or to develop a low cost information product, such as an E-book, that will demonstrate masses of value to people interested in generating income from home, as well as those who are already looking into Network Marketing. You can then focus the bulk of your efforts on marketing your low cost product to people who are actively researching and already want to find out more.<br />

This redresses the balance to your advantage in a number of ways:<br />

Firstly, it offers a budget for promoting your information product so that you can make contact with more interested leads and second it provides a means of sourcing your own self-liquidating business opportunity leads. Anyone who pays for your product is a qualified prospect who is actually interested in what you have to offer and you have earned a token profit in locating that individual. This person will be a much more responsive prospect than 'someone you used to work with', or a 'long-lost uncle'. Also, you won't spoil your friend and family relationships, or go broke in the process.<br />
